After nine years of Spanish study, I’ll finally travel to Seville, Spain, where I’m livin’ and schoolin’ for a semester. I also intend to tour the rest of Europe in my time abroad, possibly even hitting up Germany — or, The Motherland.
I’m a double major in Spanish and journalism, but writing is my first love. So yes, I’m prepared to restart my waitressing career upon graduation. Despite my fondness of sarcasm and oft-crude humor, I’m hopelessly infatuated with poetry, so-called “chick music” and all things beautiful. After a variety of writing gigs at my school newspaper, an insurance company and a pop culture website, among others, I’m delighted to begin blogging to a captive audience of family and friends. And also to anyone who mistook our blog for the actual “Girls Gone Wild”… sorry.
